Hi! Im a west coast based multimedia artist working towards my BFA at Emily Carr University. Creating curiously and analytically i currently work with Photography (Black and white film and digital), Serigraphy, Mixed media, Graphic design, and Ceramics. My art is informed by discussions around BODY THEORY. Broken further into the many discussions surrounding the self, feminism, beauty standards, commodification of people, identification, and Anatomy - particularly teeth, skin and body/beauty marks. Techniques such as high contrast, absurdity, and sterile environments contribute to further these ideas. I am inquisitive about people and interested in their vast differences as well as grounding similarities that come up, especially in typologies. I explore hypotheses that humans come up with to explain life's synchronicities.
